Comments and/or suggestions are always welcome. You can email us at the above website or call us at 410-604-1891. The following is important information for students:
WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:Wear comfortable clothing. It is best not to eat a large meal 1 ½-2 hours prior to class. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class. We encourage students to bring their own mat. We have blocks, straps and blankets available for use. Please turn off cell phones and/or pagers during class. Be prepared to energize, relax and restore.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: In the event of flooding, severe wind, snow or ice, follow the school closings for Queen Anne’s County, i.e. if school is 2 hours late there will be no morning classes, if school closes early there will be no evening classes, if school is closed the studio will be closed. As we know, living on the Eastern Shore school is delayed many times for fog. In this event, it will not affect morning classes unless the fog is so dense it is hazardous to drive. If this occurs, call the studio to find out if classes have been cancelled.
REGISTRATION:All students will be required to fill out a student registration form and liability waiver prior to participating in class. In some cases a physician clearance will need to be obtained prior to the student participating in class, i.e. pre-natal, cardio-vascular, etc. (see detailed list of contraindicated poses).
PAYMENTS: Full payment is required at the time of registration. We accept checks and/or cash. Checks are to be made payable to Yoga East, L.L.C. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks. Yoga East, L.L.C. reserves the right to cancel a class or change instructors.
HOW TO MAKE-UP A CLASS: Missed classes can be made up at anytime during the current session, but cannot be carried over to another session. Make-ups can be done in advance of an anticipated absence.
